WordPress For Fan Page now features a “REVEAL” menu tab that is hidden until a Facebook Fan “Like” the page.
It will then “REVEAL” hidden content such as discount coupons, QR codes or free content that you want to give away. It is simply the EASIEST Way to implement “Reveal” tabs on Fan Pages

Re: WP Themes for Facebook Fan Pages
Dear Fellow Marketer,
If you have Facebook Fan Pages and want to use the new iframe based tabs… you’ll find Facebook didn’t do you any favors with their new iframe update.
Why?
Well, have you tried your hand with coding the new iframes based Fan Page tabs?
If you’re an experienced programmer — it’s probably easy for you.
But if you’re are a DIY Internet Marketing coder working with the iframe code can turn into a horrible nightmare.
And if you haven’t the money to run to elance.com or rentacoder.com every time you need some simple Fan Page Tabs… you’ll soon be frustrated to the point of pulling your hair out!
Yes, it’s true even for me..
I wanted to use the new iframe based tabs to update some of my training materials. After a couple of hours banging my head against my keyboard… trying to get the iframe code to display right inside a fan page, I gave UP!
I had to…
to do the coding I needed done and to get it to display right. It was really frustrating!
I’m sure you can imagine how hard it’s going to be for anyone that needs fan page tab changes made and — has less programming skills than we have.
Here is what Allfacebook.com had to say about the new Facebook Fan Page iframes:
Aside from that, it’s pretty much a more technical landscape, and those developers who build applications which enable page administrators to easily customize their pages should see an increase in demand.
For the average person, things just got immensely complex.“
This means big trouble for Fan Page DIY’s because certain other tab functions, which were easy for site admins to implement with the..
And that can get expensive — really quick.
Plus, to make this latest Facebook Fan Page “below-the-belt-punch” hurt even worse…
Here’s another ringer…
If you’ve used Fan-gatin in order to get visitors to “LIKE” your page before viewing your content — now you have to know how to do custom code it! (And this requires a complex process involving JSON objects and Boolean code to set up.)
All this is way too hard for most people to figure out when all they want to do is… just update their own fan pages!
One of the real strengths of the Facebook’s old static FBML application was it allowed you to build your own custom tabs (if you used a free or low-cost FBML template for the copy and paste content to add to a static FBML box – it used to be REALLY SIMPLE to add a new tab!)
You didn’t have to be a high end HTML coder to make simple changes.
And now there’s…
Facebook is moving to a ‘more robust platform’ which will help more advanced programmers and application developers — which is great for THEM, but what about the rest of US?
If you want to dive in deep and learn how to be a DIY iframe coder, well then great!
But did you know…
You’ll need to know the complete truth — that setting up iFrame custom applications requires significantly more technical knowledge…
Now you’ll have to know how to do all of this too…
So if you’re a programming geek, heck it’s easy.
But for the rest of us, who worked hard to learn the basic HTML in order to figure how to use static FBML (just to the point we needed) this plain sucks.
When all we wanted to do was to get our new fan pages up and running — now with the new iframe cr*p you can’t be a do-it-yourself fan page creator/editor anymore!
Many Facebook FBML “Entrepreneurs” are going to have to buckle down and learn the new iframe coding skills — whether they like it or not. That is…if they don’t want to have to pay outsourcing fees to rent-a-coders and programmers just to make simple fan page changes.
Because of the new changes… the
If you own the fan pages for the older style fan pages with the old tabs…you’ll no longer be able to use the old DIY coding ways to build new tabs. Even many of the old tags we’ve been told will fade away too…
Once Facebook does this, many of the older fan pages will not be updated since their owners will not be willing to either learn how to code with iframes or bear the extra expense of paying for custom coding.
So it comes to this question…
Any custom tabs developed before the changeover will be supported into the indefinite future. We know this for sure as Facebook told us this applies to the creation of FBML canvas applications.
But even now as of March 10th, 2011, the old FBML tab creation system is gone.
This doesn’t make a whole lot of sense if you’ve been making and editing your own fan pages. And if you know the old story about how Facebook recommended that page admins use custom tabs for boxes content when support for boxes — was yanked!
Just so you know…
While existing FBML applications will continue to work, it will no longer be possible to build new applications using FBML…
“Big Guys” decide to throw you a crappy curve ball — so the simple things you need to do get even harder to do?
And worse yet, cost you money you can’t afford to spend?
The other big problem is I (and you probably do too), have a very large number of personal and customer fan pages that I manage and constantly update!
Now I’ll have to foot the bill to get a full time developer on board or face the reality of not being able to update my fan pages as often. Plus I won’t be able to afford to keep adding ‘hot new content’ either. Not if I have to pay through the nose for simple tab changes.
To keep our Fan Pages active, we know we have to keep our pages up by adding lots of ‘hot stuff’ – that’s what the fans crave!
And…If you don’t keep your page interesting they will just move on and all the hard work you put into your fan pages will evaporate into thin air!
So I decided to figure out how to fix this problem with the fan page iframes so that ANYONE could easily do it.
And I knew for this to work well, it had to be easy to do and had to work for people with limited technical experience. So that meant building it with WordPress. I wanted to see if I could leverage WordPress to make easy to do “reveal tabs” for iframes.
The biggest incentive to use the WordPress Platform was, most of my staff were familiar with the use of WordPress. Plus, my current and new customers would find it easy to use if I mixed it with what they already knew by building their own simple WordPress blogs.
With my experience of creating “reveal tabs” for iframes I decided to create a set of WordPress themes I could use on my Fan Pages. I wanted lots of customization, including easy tabs, and even payment buttons for PayPal!
So, after working with my programmers and designers for a couple of months, it’s finally ready to be released! The final product is 8 variations of a simple to install – (1 click install style) WordPress Fan Page Theme.
Best thing is — it is all in the current Facebook style, color and fonts to blend with Facebook Fan Page Platform.

Here’s more answers for you…
Question:
My clients are familiar with WP and I think they’d love the functionality of having their FB pages run on WP so they could easily update their pages. I’m not looking to convert their full blog to the Fan Page but to add a separate blog (on a new domain, subdomain, or folder) for them to manage their Fan Page.
But I am looking for some guidance on how to covert their existing Fan Page to WP – without loosing any existing fans, etc. Do I just create the new blog and then they update the info in their account to point to the new blog for their Fan Page?
Thanks!
Lori
Answer:
You don’t need to loose any Fans. You just create a new Facebook app (connected to the WP site) and add it to the existing Fan Page as a tab. The WordPress information and updates will then show up in the new tab. You can set that to the default landing tab. The Page and fans remains as is.

Question:
This looks completely AWESOME! I’m going to buy it anyways but was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the tabs in wordpress with CSS? or using some new images?
Thanks so much,
Stephanie Franklin
Answer:
The templates have style sheets that you can edit that controls the colors etc. It doesn’t contain any images at the moment as I tried to keep it as clean and close to the Facebook “look and feel” as possible. You can add your own images tec. through the WordPress page posts. I may add some different color ones in future if there is an interest

Question:
I have one question regarding footer on your Facebook’s sample page.
If I buy this product, will there be a footer “Designed by WordPress For FanPages” at the bottom of each tab?
Thank you.
Heru
Answer:
The footer message is in the template but I have no issue if you remove it. Backlinks would be great though

Question:
Does it mean that after setting up this wordpress platform as your fanpage, it can still act as a normal fanpage in facebook? Does it sync with Facebook in terms of all the functionalities?
Great looking product by the way!
Cheers,
Lester
Answer:
Yes it will require a separate WP install in subdomain or separate domain. That install will serve the info to the Fan Page. The Reveal tab option sync the “like” status of the fan to determine if it must show hidden content or not

Question:
Is there anything in these themes to help restrict the “post/page” height to 800 pixels or less– to avoid FB’s scroll bars?
Answer:
The height is not restricted at the moment, only the width to 520px. There is a script that removes the vertical and horizontal scroll bars but it sometimes still shows up in Firefox. Hopefully they will address it soon as it works in IE, Safari and Chrome without any issues
*************************************
Question:
On this theme for Facebook can I add video? Just want to make sure.
Answer:
The sample fan page WordPress For Fan Pages | Facebook has a video plugin installed on the WordPress blog and shows up in the page
Yes, there is full instructions on how to set up the iframe tab on Facebook and integrate your WordPress site with that.
*************************************
Question:
How many sites can I use this on?
Answer:
It is a single user license, you can use it on all of your own websites. The license is for private use so it implies that you can use it on multiple sites of your own. You can, however, not resell it to customers etc.
I will be making developer licenses available on the next page. It includes free life time updates for this specific theme at the Developer License Price.
*************************************
Question:
Are you going to set up an affiliate program for these themes, I do not have a problem with the footer and linking to your site, it would be really nice but a profitable situation if I could set up as an affiliate or reseller.
Answer:
Clickbank will be used for affiliates for this product and for the developer’s license. Please see the affiliate link for more information.
